Fe Nunn is a musician, instructor, educator, and humanitarian. He began his musical career in his original hometown, Buffalo NY, where the culturally diverse, vibrant music scene was rich with world-class jazz, classical, and R&B music, all of which greatly impressed and influenced him. His 1999 CD release, “We Can Make It,” offers an in-depth view of his unique jazz and R&B expressions.

After 42 years as a teacher and administrator in the Ithaca City School District, Mr. Fe Nunn knows what children from all backgrounds need to succeed. He founded the Community Unity Music Education Project (CUMEP) in 2002 to “serve and uplift those from disadvantaged communities.” Now in retirement, Mr. Fe is able to focus more time on CUMEP and see how his vision of music for everyone has grown.
