Alejandro Pinzón

Alejandro Pinzón is a visual artist and cultural manager born in Charalá, Colombia, in 1971. With over 36 years dedicated to Native Art, he is currently based in New York. His work reflects his childhood memories, folklore, stories, and customs from his country and the world around him. He has conducted projects such as painting workshops and art exhibitions in cities like New York, Bogotá, Caracas, Moscow, Paris, Monaco, and others worldwide. His contributions to various museum collections include the MMOMA in Moscow, Museo MANLA in Quito, MAMB in Colombia, MAPBARI in Caracas, MAM-BA in Bahia, and a donation of artist ephemera to the collection of the Wallach Division of the New York Public Library. He currently resides in New York City.
