Andrew Siedenburg
Andrew Siedenburg is an artist and filmmaker based in Staten Island, NY whose work focuses on examining below the surface of everyday life. He is co-directing two feature length documentary films: “Weeping Rocks,” about insect population declines and long-term research; and “Water Into Land,” about environmental justice and disinvestment in Staten Island’s North Shore. He received an MFA from California Institute of the Arts in 2020 and was part of the Whitney Independent Study Program in 2022. He has shown work at MAK Center of Art & Architecture, Artists Space, and the International Center of Photography. He is a co-owner of Lost Horizon Films.
