Danielle Schenandoah
Danielle Schenandoah is an Oneida Wolf Clan Member of the Haudenosaunee Six Nations Confederacy. She is the daughter of highly respected traditional Oneida Nation Wolf Clan Mother Maisie Schenandoah & Clifford Schenandoah, Onondaga Nation Pine Tree Chief (parents now deceased).
Award winning North American Indian Artist, Director of Haudenosaunee Song & Dance Troupe, International Indigenous Rights Advocate & Cultural Educator raised at the Onyota’a:ká: Oneida Indian Territory located in upstate New York. She has created custom original design beaded artwork for over 25 years, with many pieces on display at various museums & private collections.
Schenandoah, founder of the Kahnahiyo Indigenous ancient seeds & plant preservation in 1986, promotes cultural methods of agriculture & knowledge of indigenous ethnobotany.
