Dr. Nia Nunn

Dr. Nia Nunn is an educator. An associate professor at Ithaca College, Board of Directors President of The Ithaca Southside Community Center and Dr Nia Nunn wears multiple head-wraps in her community and across several classrooms and board rooms across the country, as an educator-performer-scholar-artist-mother. Prior to receiving a B.A. in Early childhood education at Clark Atlanta University (2003), and a Ph.D. in school psychology at Michigan State University (2011), Dr. Nia was born and raised in Ithaca. As part of her passion and responsibility, she is committed to learning and engaging audiences creatively, intensely, and gracefully. Her workshops, research, philosophy, and other offerings focus on a Black feminist approach to anti-racist curricula.
