Jolene Patterson
Jolene Patterson is a photographer from Central New York who comes from a family full of artists. She finds inspiration from her surroundings and her culture. There is so much beauty around that she always feels like people are too busy looking at their phones and can miss out on something resplendent.
She loves working with black and white film photography and feels that photography best captures emotions and energy. She started her career at Onondaga Community College where she met her best mentors. She was awarded a yearlong fellowship with the Sundance Institute’s Indigenous program.
