Justin Relf is a performing artist and educator with over fifteen years of experience in vocal performance, acting, choreography, and stage performance and production. He is passionate about serving the Troy community by creating spaces and opportunities for youth expression through the performing arts. Justin is the founder of the Oakwood Techniques Program of the Oakwood Community Center. Oakwood Techniques is a performing arts after school program that lays a foundation for lifelong love of the arts, and builds participants’ understanding of the way to use the performing arts as a form of self expression. He also is the founder of Discover U Performing Arts Program (Discover U). Discover U is designed to make accessible a high quality performing arts education experience to Black and brown youth who reside in historically underserved communities. Discover U is a training and coaching program for middle and high school students who are interested in going into performance as a career. Discover U prepares young artists for professional performance by focusing on the development of each young performer.
