Leeora White is an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation, Turtle Clan. She resides on the Allegany Reservation, in Salamanca, NY. In Seneca Culture it is a tradition to orally share stories from the beginning of time from one generation to the next generation. Leeora is a Seneca Mother and Woman continuing the role of storytelling. Inspired by her late Grandfather Duwayne ‘Duce’ Bowen and his published books “One More Story” and “A Few More Stories.” These stories were based on supernatural experiences on the Allegany Reservation that led Leeora to the path of storytelling just as he did for the Seneca community and the generation before her. She continues to share stories with her children in hopes of inspiring their generation and generations to come.
