Libby Lee

Libby Lee is a Chicago and New York based actor. She often gets cast as vulnerable, sensitive characters who are dealing with heavy circumstances a.k.a. she cries very well. Her favorite role to date is when she played Rose Mundy in Brian Friel’s Dancing at Lughnasa directed by Alan Langdon. She prays to add Charlotte Corday from The Revolutionists, Chekhov’s legendary Nina, Olivia from Twelfth Night, and a character like Jobu Tupaki to her resume soon. Libby sings and dances well, but she is an actor first. She is fluent in and enjoys all mediums, but her true love is live theatre. Greek tragedies, Shakespeares, and Chekhovs are where she likes to live.

She is also a proud Teaching Artist. She has taught digital art at One River School, theatre improv to 3rd graders at Creative Muse, and Greek Mythology to 5th graders in NY public schools with Marquis Studios. She loves kids, and would probably be a teacher if she loved acting a little less.
