Sage Cotignola is an illustrator and muralist originally from the East End of Long Island. Sage’s illustrations are intricate, narrative gouache paintings featuring folkloric creatures, surreal flora, and the cyclic harmonies found in nature. Sage also designs and paints murals throughout Long Island and New York City with a focus on community-centered projects that project a sense of place and the vibrancy of the people and ecologies that make a community unique.
