Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on March 25, 1981, Talia’s musical journey began immersed in Latin and pop melodies. As a natural vocalist and second of four siblings, her childhood resonated with music. After founding Sonidos Unidos in 2015, blending Latin and pop to bridge cultures, she performed across New York State and globally. Her single “Es Que No Puedo” resonated widely, but “Yo Soy Latina,” released in September 2023, is more than a song. It embodies Talia’s Latina identity—a testament to unity and empowerment, inviting all to embrace cultural pride and transcend boundaries through music. Talia has graced stages at the New York State Fair, Rochester International Jazz Festival, Puerto Rican festivals, and more, leaving a lasting impact with her vibrant performances.
