Victor Ma. Chamán

Writer Victor Ma. Chamán was born in Mexico in the early nineties. He moved to Texas to attend college at the height of the war for Torreón, his hometown. He holds degrees from UT Austin and Syracuse University’s MFA program. He has been the recipient of national writing prizes including the Elie Wiesel Prize in Ethics and the Southwest Review Nathan Meyerson Prize in Fiction, among others.
