The Collaboration
Sullivan J. Harris worked with The Bundy Museum of History & Art to provide free media services to bands who performed at the museum, many of whom were under the age of 18 and/or LGBTQIA+. Over the course of a year, Sullivan produced over a dozen professional quality recordings of the local music scene, bolstering recognition of one of Binghamton’s only mid-sized music venues and highlighting the diverse range of artists that inhabited the space every weekend. Sullivan also provided live and promotional photography and illustrations for artists that otherwise would struggle to afford that essential service. Sullivan leveraged their graphic design skills to help with the museum’s printed materials and to support fundraising efforts to help the museum stay afloat when the institution lost funding in 2023.
